They are writing Manu Bennett out of Season 2.

From some high placed sources I've heard Manu Bennett has been extremely difficult for the producers to deal with on this show.

He shows up without his lines memorized, insults actresses on set, and is very difficult to direct.

As someone who has worked on a production that he was involved with, none of the above surprises me. The guy has a history of assault and alcohol abuse to boot.

The rumor is they are trying to write in some kind of change to Allanon's appearance after he stepped through the portal at the end of the season so they can cast another actor in the role for Season 2.

Since he's also been banned from being on any CW TV Show as well as any Starz show after his violent outbursts and antics on the sets of both Arrow and Spartacus, I would be shocked if we don't see news of a new Allanon actor very soon.

When someone says that he/she heard from "High placed sources" that usually means "We are going to make *bleep* stuff up"

I don't know what you are talking about. His colleagues (especially from the Spartacus cast) always say great things about Manu. I met him myself 2 years ago .. he was very kind and a complete gentlemen. His panels showed he is pretty in Intellectual as well.

Last year he got into a fight and gave a guy a punch. No one knows what happens.. rumors say he was protecting a woman who got harassed by the guy he punched.

I'm pretty sure we are going to enjoy Manu in season 2 of Shannara. Can't wait for it.

Sorry to shatter your fantasy, but I know Manu personally and have worked with him.

What you are saying about the people who work with him is only the people that do not KNOW him. Manu puts on a face of kindness, but he is in actuality a sociopath. He has attacked several people, including people he worked with, and as someone who has been with Manu when he is totally drunk and on drugs and willing to tell the truth, he admitted to hitting the guy in Texas and breaking his face because Manu tried to take his woman home and the guy stood up to him in front of everyone. Manu was embarrassed so he attacked the man to save face.

This is who Manu is. He is a violent wild animal who attacks people, but puts on a charming smile and tells inspiring stories to gain the trust of his fans.

He broke a woman's leg at a wedding because she beat him in a friendly wrestling match. He attacked a fan at a Starbucks who was "annoying him" by asking for his autograph. He admitted to hitting his own daughter because she was "acting up", he was fired from Arrow for attacking a camera operator, and he is banned from ever working for Starz again.

He also runs around the world hiding from his three children and mother of his children as he has sex with countless women in each country and place he visits. He is a man running from his problems. But now they are catching up to him.

Manu has a terrible ego problem and refuses to acknowledge his alcohol and drug addiction that enhances his rage.

He needs serious psychiatric help. But it's good to know he'll always be able to survive financially off of delusional fans like you who will pay $60 to get a picture with a washed up actor who will make you feel special as he speaks to you, and then will immediately forget your name.

I have met fans like you. You will do anything to protect the image of Manu in your mind. You will lie to yourself to convince yourself he is a good man. That is the power of his manipulation.

Mark my words. Manu Bennett will not be back for Season 2. He will not be getting much work again.

Word coming out right now that Manu has fled Spartacon in Maryland because he attacked a female convention worker. I'm getting texts from Spartacus actors as we speak confirming the story. No word yet how bad the attack was, but undoubtedly the story will hit shortly as it was public.

To flee a convention is a big deal. That's him abandoning $15,000. That means he is scared.

The guy is a wild animal, like I said.

But keep shelling out that money for pictures. Keep enabling him. Good work fans!

So you say you worked with him? Seems more like your fantasy! You created a IMDb account 1 week ago so you must be are very reliable source *uhmm* just to be clear.. sarcasm. I can say I worked with Orlando Bloom..in my dreams LOL but that doesn't make it true ;) The only thing you did so far since you created a account was write a review about a movie Manu was the lead in and make up lies about him. So it seems like you have a obsession with him. Do people pity you in life? Is that why you feel like you need to make up lies about someone that most people find really awesome?

Usually these kind of lies are made up about the kindest people. Same for the Sean Maguire.. a girl claimed she worked on the Once Upon a Time set and was a witness that Sean Harassed his make up artist and she told his co star Lana Parrilla and she made sure Sean got fired. Lana said everything this girl told was a lie that "None of it was true" Just like everything you told is a lie. This is just 1 example but lies are made up daily about great people.. by people like you who wish they were important. Even if Manu will not be a part of season 2 (which is not true) Then it will be budget cuts.

And maybe you should read interviews from actual people who worked with Manu and know him. Because they worked and filmed with him for hours and days. I'm talking about Stephen Amell, Lucy Lawless, Liam Mcintyre, Peter Jackson and the list goes on and on. They all say wonderful things about him. Stephen even said Arrow is not the same without him and misses him. Those are (Unlike you) actual people who really worked with him.

And Thanks for calling me a "delusional fan" (I guess you saying it makes it a great compliment) I go to conventions because I love to meet people I admire because of there great acting skills and Manu is one of those people I admire. I always meet fans who are likewise (in your words delusional) and I have a wonderful time at conventions. Funny how you judge that.. says again something about you. And No I haven't paid $60 for his photo. As I said he was sweet and at a convention you pay for a photo not for kindness. I met last June an actor who was a complete *beep* so kindness is not always a guarantee.

For 4 years I have been going to conventions and met so many wonderful actors. The ones that showed the most kindness were Ian Somerhalder, Colin O'Donoghue, Emilie de Ravin, Jennifer Morrison, Sean Maguire (oh yes another man who is harassing woman LOL) Georgina Haig and ohh yes MANU BENNET!

But hey go on with your hate quest.. your post is a joke. You will probably make a new account in a few weeks. And then another one. We have a name for people like you: Troll :)

Where there is smoke there is fire. In my years working in this business, I have never seen a rumor started with ZERO truth to it.

I made this account to protect my anonymity. He is NOT a good man.

In fact Stephen Amell hates Manu and Manu hates Stephen. This comes directly from Manu himself when we were working on the same project. What Stephen said in that interview was for show... By the way Stephen is a D-Bag in person.

These people, ESPECIALLY Manu, project an image of themselves to the public. Manu's main goal in life is to be respected by his fans. He will lie, cheat, steal, do whatever it takes to protect how his fans perceive him.

But what he doesn't realize is, no amount of fan support will remove him from the industry blacklist he is now on. He's just been banned from Spartacon as of yesterday. He lost a major role in XXX 3 with Vin Diesel because of his Texas assault charge.

His career is over unless he comes clean and gets help. He is an alcoholic and an abuser, and it's starting to become too difficult for him to hide it.

I know details about an impending lawsuit involving a recent assault case that would blow your mind. It will all be revealed soon enough.

And yes, Shannara is moving on without him. Sorry to burst your bubble.

No he was not. He attended at this convention and had a lot of fun with Liam and the others. He will be a guest at the upcoming Middle Earth& Spartacus conventions in Paris.

Let's assume everything you claim about Manu Bennett's violent outburst, drunkeness, and poor work ethic are true. So what? Did MTV cast him and expect him to suddenly become nice? According to you the people he works with know his true nature. So why did they hire him only to replace him?

I have read in some places that the first post is true. He is an absolutely terrible personal to work with. He was also arrested in Texas for assault.

Shannara series got a ton of bashing during its first season by people that wished it gone.

And these rumours about Manu Bennet considering he's the strongest name on the actor list may be just another way of bashing the series in a sad attempt at getting it cancelled.

In this series Bennet expertly portrayed his character that if he should be replaced somehow then...

Allanon never went through a portal at the end of Season 1. If you don't know this critical point where "they are writing Manu Bennett out of Season 2", it causes me to discredit anything you have to say thereafter. Manu Bennett is even listed as cast for 2017 a few inches above. And remember KARMA always comes back around.

You claim to have high placed sources, yet provide 0. You claim to report "news", but fill it with your own personal bias against Manu Bennett and Stephen Amell.

It appears you don't know what you're talking about as you mixed up two vastly different characters. That is quite a mix up considering you have high profile sources.

Since he's also been banned from being on any CW TV Show as well as any Starz show after his violent outbursts and antics on the sets of both Arrow and Spartacus, I would be shocked if we don't see news of a new Allanon actor very soon.

After a quick search, no other news outlets have reported that Manu Bennett has been banned from CW or Starz. In fact, according to Arrow co-creator Marc Guggenheim, Warner Bros isn't allowing the Deathstroke character to appear in Arrow due to a future appearance in the DCEU.

Please stop spreading lies.

He can be a hot head granted but how do we know it's the drugs or alcohol that makes him mean. It could be in his blood? I've saw lots of countries that he is descended from, exp. Scottish, Irish and add those to the island native and add all that up you will have a lot of hot headedness. That could be the way he is normally.
I should know I've got 6 different fighting blood and I can loss my cool in less then a second, add a drop of alcohol it would be worse.
My point is he might be a hard actor to work with but he makes his characters remember-able. I still remember Crixus and I haven't seen Spartacus in three years and his time in 30 days of nights, he made the characters better.
Hell look at Vin Diesel, people were putting him down for his behind the scenes activities. These actors have a lot to deal with on their plates, they aren't all going to be model citizens, it's apart of the deal, You want a certain actor you will get their darkness.
