Info on 'Mysteries of the Moon' Episode

During the episode, they were examining the effects of the full moon on people. they followed a West Hollywood cop on a night of the full moon. the last call he got in the first hour of his watch was about a celebrity throwing beer bottles into his neighbor's yard. after doing a little research I found out that this was most likely the B-List (C-List?) celeb Andy Dick. I found out his little issue occured on August 28th, which was a full moon night. I live the internet.

I was actually surprised that the cop would change his opinion after such a small amount of circumstancial data.

I agree, and what are the chances they'd find the particular cop out there who would "change his opinion after such a small amount of circumstantial data" and just happen to follow HIM around on the specific night when his change of mind occurred?

But perhaps it was a dramatization? Maybe it represented a group who, after many years of seeing the pattern, became convinced.

I can see that happening, but it would be kind of disappointing to me. I'd like to think this show was above that.
