The new show tries too hard and fails equally hard. Seems like they got rid of everything that made the original work so well and hold up so well over time... including Tom Slick and SuperChicken.
What's the point of remaking it? Getting rid of Ape's accent and intelligence takes away any justification for his inclusion.
