Oh ladies (assume we are all ladies posting here but just in case I'll say gents as well) you haven't been looking closely enough at him all of this time have you! He did it for me a long time ago just something about him, can't really put my finger on it. Also he's a great actor to boot, lends and has lent his name to some pretty excellent stuff.

I was mesmerized by him from the first scene he was in, couldn't take my eyes off him and wished I was Angelica... Terrific actor, the Brits have the best character actors and he is no exception.

The guy just slipped off my radar till... well, yesterday! I kinda enjoyed the first episode of LOM US, but couldn'tfind the second episode, so I started watching the UK version. My first thought was: That skinny guy cannot pull off a 1970's cop! Needless to say I was wrong, I watched all of LOM in one sitting YESTERDAY, and John Simm is just amazing! I'm watching him in Dr. Who now, and he can do whatever he wants with me, lol. I wish I could find this show though. Even if it's just for him. does he get enough screen time?

John Simm is brilliant as Van Gogh in The Yellow House. Don't think it's on DVD but you can get a copy at my fav trading website (UK)...

Haha! Love this thread! I have to say- at first I didn't think he was very attractive... but as the series went on he certainly did become the knight in shining armor- and as another poster mentioned the scar, the long hair, even the hat he wore made him sexy. The repressed love and sexual frustration he has for Angelica is sure to make any female viewer swoon!

Now here, ladies, we see the classic "I'm gonna look at women all I like but the minute a woman finds a man attractive they're slags and hoes." double standard type.

Any youtube video with Megan Fox has at LEAST 5 comments that just say "Fap fap fap" Men are dirty sluts and have no place to tell anyone off for the same.

If I would only have seen a picture of him somewhere I don't think I woud have noticed him. But ever seen the first time I saw him on TV (in "Life On Mars") *swoon*. There's just something about him (so intense and incredibly sexy) no matter which character he plays and above all he's a fantastic actor. I've never been let down by any of his performances. Even if the story/movie/series itself was rather weak he's always perfect.
