I bought a used copy of the DVD, and unfortunately there was something wrong with it. Thankfully only one part of the movie, but I feel like I missed something.
When Miriam´s husband goes to the city to meet the woman he´s having an affair with, the whole thing freezes when she´s entering the room expecting to see her lover and faces her husband instead. The movie is okay again from the driving lesson scene. So what DOES happen?

She says "you're early". He turns around, she sees it's her husband, and she says in an irritated voice, "real early." He explains that there is some kind of protest or riot in the city so he got done early. They cut away, but I can't remember to what scene, then they came back with the other husband walking in. He doesn't notice his lover's husband, so he calls out for the woman. She comes into the room as the husband notices him. She covers it by scolding him for just dropping in without giving any warning. He says he got done early and thought he'd visit. The other husband says the same thing, and it looks like they got away with it. This is why when he comes home after the "driving lesson" he says that it is over with the other woman. Getting that close to being caught scared him too much.
