Yeah, and that makes me realize something I didn't before. Tomei in this movie is constantly criticizing her parents style of raising her, as if her children are so great. She restricts their diets, limits their means of expression to simply "use your words", "express your feelings properly", etc. But when the kid sprays his grandfather with a water gun and makes fun of him, the mother laughs and does nothing. When the kid laughs and calls his grandfather "farty", again, the mother does nothing. If she were truly a good mom trying to raise her kids properly, she would have pulled that kid aside and told him that his behavior was rude and unacceptable, and to apologize to his grandfather. She should have been embarrassed to have her children act that way.

If this is the new and correct way to parent then our world is in big trouble.
