Down in the Delta

Down in the Delta is a wonderful and moving movie with the magnificent Alfre Woodard. I have to wonder if Tyler Perry had it lodged in the back of his mind when he wrote Meet the Browns because of the similar storylines. The stories are not identical, just similar enough to give you pause. I am biased though, Alfre Woodard is wonderful in everything she does.
