the ending was way too over the top for me

i mean the ending would've been better if they could just lived in the new house, do they have to bring all the basketball contract, him being rich, and the mother getting married, dont you think thats a little bit too much, wat do you think?

Well I dont't think that's too much. Them getting married isn't over the top because that's how they live in the new house together. The basketball contract was the oldest son's dream in life. So appearntly, the basketball contract isn't much because I think he gets a scholarship from it. And him being rich? Um, he was douptfully already rich when h met the single mother. That's what I think. As in, in my opinion.

I kinda get what you mean. I mean, they had to wrap up those loose ends, but still, when they pulled up to the house, that seemed like the finale to the movie, but then we had to go way down and way back up again.

It was way over the top. This movie wasn't bad, but wasn't great, but it did seem the ending was over the top even to the point of the father showing his sorry ass up at the press conference. To me it wasn't really called for.
