I just watched this movie last night, and I have to say that it is not one of Tyler Perry's best. But I was continually mystified by the David Mann character. I just didn't find him funny in the slightest. I've never seen the Brown's plays, but from the clips I've seen, he's just not funny. The movie had its moments, but I felt that it came to a screaching halt at times and that was because of the Leroy Brown character.

He wasn't the best in this movie, but I love his parts in Madea Goes To Jail.
shareI agree with the the OP. He wasn't funny. He was funnier in the blooper reel they showed at the end of the movie. I also found Jennifer Lewis' character to be unfunny. I don't know why a woman who has so much under her belt would play in movies where she is protrayed as uncouth, and downright ignorant.
