Does anyone know what the plot of this movie is?

I have a rough idea. It's a psychological thriller where some campers at camp hope are possessed by demons. This dramatically affects their behavior around the camp. Also, with these demons and other problems around the camp, everything goes chaotic.

Hmmm...interesting...what's with the priest and stuff? Is this some christian camp? I hope it's successful, so many movies nowadays are just a bunch of...balogna.

Yes, it's supposed to be a Christian Camp, possibly a Catholic version of the camp in Wisconsin featured in that well-known documentary film. I've been told Connor Paolo's character is a "Doubting Thomas."

yes, i have been on set a couple of days and his character is the troublemaker around the camp. It is a strict Christian camp with the priest and all.

wait are you talking about "Jesus Camp"? Because that was a very upsetting documentary. MY fiance didn't want to watch it but he would start yelling at the tv from the other side of the room when I was watching it.

The movie is about a camp(Camp Hope) where a demon terrorizes young campers. Or atleast that's what my brother told me, considering the demon in the movie is my brother's "work of art". He and another special-effects make-up artist create this demon after 13 hours of make-up. The demon looks like alot of "monsters" my brother makes. It's a shame this website constantly fails to mention him when he's one of the top special-effects make-up artists on the east coast.

I see...this sounds like an interesting movie...I'm not sure how it's going to go...Your brother's work should be recognized, it's a shame it isn't. Who's your brother, and what other work has he done?

All I know is that where I'm from (Georgia, USA) there is a christian camp called Camp Hope and its for abused kids. My friend was a counselor there one year. IDK if it's based off the same camp though.

My understanding is that it is based on a camp run by a community called the People of Hope based in NJ. The community is now Catholic, but was not for many years until a few years ago.

For the years I attended the camp, it was in Sussex County, NJ. The writer was sent to the camp at the same time I was.

i work at the Camp Hope in Georgia, and i can guarantee that this movie is NOT based on us. :)
