The mom's voice

I find it a little irritating, is it me or are there other people here that think the same way? She has a little girl's voice like some young women I know and it gets on my nerves. At the end of the movie, I get used to it though. It's true that this movie is like many others of the same kind with the evil child doing bad things and nobody realizing that she isn't the angel they believe she is. We started with "Damian", there is also "The Orphan" as well as "Sweet Evil", to name a few. I didn't dislike the uncle that much. I immediately knew that he didn't kill "Jefferson", the baby duck and that it was the new girl who did it.

Yes the mother's voice was irritating. She sounded and acted very immature. I really dislike it when women continue to speak in a baby/helpless voice. So far I have never noticed an independent person speaking like this.

I thought she sounded cute. Her voice reminded me of Jennifer Tilly's.

Not a fan of Tilly's voice either. It's not awful and they both do sound cute but it's just too much.

Helen the mother played by actress Melora Walters sound like that in a few movies I've seen her in if not all of them with her soft spoken baby voice!
