David Turner?
What ever became of David Turner? According to his IMDB page he died sometime in 1990 at age 63 does anyone know how he died? There isn't much information to be found on him online.
shareDavid Turner died in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, UK, on 11th December 1990. I should guess that it was probably alcohol related. One of the last times I saw him he was very drunk and disorientated at the theatre. I put him in a taxi and sent him home. A very talented teacher and playwright who didn't get the recognition he deserved. If anyone knows where I could get copies of any of his plays, either film or script, I would be very interested.
Many thank for the update. Amazon.co.uk have a few of his plays for sale. It is odd that he is not more widely known. His play Semi-Detached is still performed in theatre to this day. From what I have read of his work so far he had a wicked sense of humor--shame he died young.
