yea its just a bit weird so i prefer series 1 to series 2
i saw the 2nd ep of series 3 tonight, aint seen the 1st yet and i was hoping matt may normalise more but doesnt seem that way

Tim Dawson decided he'd get bigger laughs by making Matt a dribbling cretin. So he decided to abruptly change the character for no adequate reason, breaking practically every rule about characterisation in the process.
