i had a feeling he would be able to get R2 and Wickit but it was so cool that he got Vader and Fett too!

no wounder Mark cant get work in hollywood when his being such a jerk (im talking about the 50k thing), hows he expect to help his puplic image if his not ready to give alil something back to the fans that helped made him in the first place

i think we all knew they wouldnt get Ford but it was VERY very cool to see Fisher

also CP3O looks like his really up himself, am i think only one that thought that?

all in all i liked the show and thought it was one of the best "bring backs" so far

Yeh thats just how anthony daniels is, apparently hes nice to his fans but everyone on star wars hated him.

reply

lol, hence the leave Anthony behind when going to lunch thing!

reply

Have to agree. Very disappointing. Not a patch on Bring Back the A-Team one.

Davis looked liked he enjoys himself as well as Baker does.
Prowse suprised me. I thought he may not turn up as Lucas really *beep* on him in 83.
Daniels is a complete a-rse. "Look at me slightly to the left..."
Its a robot FFS...

I think we all knew Ford wouldnt do it and am disappointed Hamill wouldnt.
Fisher is always game but shame she didnt turn up either.

Overall, good effort but let down by actors ego.

If only JLC could turn his attention to Star Trek now... PLEASE!!?!?!!

And if, you know, your history...it's enough to make your heart go whoooooahh

reply

omg yes bring back Star Trek TOS! that would so rock and im sure alot of them would do it

Why is Harrison Ford a D!ck for not showing or given an interview?

The man is busy working on other projects and has already done a reunion just 3 years ago. What is he meant to do, drop everything to do yet another one.

Hamill simply wants to forget all about Star Wars because he felt he should have had as much fame as what Ford and Carrie did.

Plus having the reunion in London did not help. Also not sure if all JLC silly sexual inuendo jokes helped.

He did well to get who he did, but you could tell most if it was staged.

Weird thing was throughout the whole programme only once did James Earl Jones get a mention. FFS he was afterall the voice of Darth Vader.

Over all the programme was a major let down.

Mark does quite well in the entertainment industry and it's actually quite standard to charge money for interviews He was well within his rights to turn JLC down Maybe by saying 50k was also his way of saying - If push comes to shove and you really want me to do it I will do it but I don't really want to do it.

After Bring Back Dallas you could see Justin wasn't hoping for more than one - he got 5!! That's huge!!

Top marks to all who turned up - heads and shoulders above the rest! I was chuffed to bits, laughed out loud, cringed and thoroughly enjoyed it.

:) Thanks again to all who took part and God Bless you! Justin - you rock! xx

BTW, Star Trek IS in the works, after doing Bring Back... Fame. JLC said so on Paul O Grady.

Warwick Davis was such a great guy too! They made it out like he was going to be a bit of a twat to start with as they were planning their entrance, but then he turned out to be really nice!

reply

Yes Warwick Davis has carved out a nice little career for himself still doing plenty of movies and I'm happy for him he's a nice guy.

reply

JLC rocks, luv the cool bloke!

watchin this, i felt really sorry for mark hammill. like fisher said, mark saw ford's career as the one he should have had. hammill fitted luke, but ford maybe had more of a hollywood quality... cant be helped.

davis and baker r awesum! both really sound and cool guys (JLC naked in davis' hot tub - 'you 'ad a lil look then!' ... 'and again!' lmao)

Mayhew was pretty cool 2.

reply

i did really enjoy this i no it might not sound it but like the subject said i was just disappointed

and the reason why i said ford was a di*k is basicly i really wanted him to be i would been happy if hed even given an interview

and yes that would be excellent if they did star trek : )

sorry about spelling mistakes

i wounder if they could get Kurk, i think kurk would be easyer to get then spock,

its too soon to do a ST:TNG bring back because the films are still being made, but ST:TOS would work

reply

yea i think William Shatner would be up for it he seems to be out going

any way back to star wars i think Mark Hamill woudnt of showen up i think maybe the 50thousand was just for an interview not for the reunienen

sorry about spelling

To be honest I think they knew who would show up and thats why they held it in London. If they had maneged to get ford and Hamill I'm shore it would have been held in a bar in L.A. or something. I wasn't expecting Ford to do this but was a little dissapointed in Mark Hamill. But Carrie Fisher was a real star giving the interview she did, that rely made the program for me. And the others that gave interviews where great sports as well. Shame Anthony Daniels came of as a kinda Jerk. it felt like alot of the cast was on Kennys side. I guess well never truly know what happend there but Kenny Baker seemed like a rely nice guy and it's hard to imagen treating him the way he described Anthony did.

All in all a good program.

reply

I agree that Anthony Daniels came off as a d i c k. like someone said with the whole "turn your head" and he said something like "it's a typical stage actor comment" and I think JLC collins thought so too as he seemed genuinely happy when he got the call saying Daniels couldnt make it. and he also got the arse on about the C3PO card with his member showing, anyone else would have seen it as funny and signed it but he clearly doesn't ever do that.

It would have been nice to get Harrison Ford but it was quite clear they never would. As for Mark Hamill, for a man who claims to be unhappy about Star Wars and wants to disassociate himself from it, everything I've seen him in recently has been Star Wars related, they were only The Simpsons as himself and Jay and Silent Bob Strike back, where he uttered the line "don't *beep* with the jedi master!"

I also think Peter Mayhew came off as a but up himself too. enjoyed the interviews with Kenny Baker and Warwick Davis though.
