Disapointing...
I made a full review and its gonna be up shortly on IMDB, check it out if you care... but in a few words.. very disapointing...
First don't get that many team members if you don't give them proper screen time.. Overall only BackFire and Callan where developed enough... all the rest would had been ok as cannon fodder, but seriously who gave a crap about these guys? For exemple Nuke, suposely the Q of the group... supose to be funny and interesting, making new stuff... but he got what... 3 scenes and just expain to Backfire how the stuff he always use work? REALLY? I almost couldn't pick apart the 2 blonde chicks, and even tough they show me WAR and RIOT are brothers.. i couldn't care less and remember it...
Michael Clark Duncan as the vilain... they could had some epic fight scenes with him... and to even piss me off more, he actually get some character developement and actually look interesting... but in the end BOLLOCK, nothing and the favori he mention to Callan is what... kept for a second movie? No way this junk would had a second movie in the first place and MCD is dead now...
Even Vinnie Jones who usually make any roles interesting, no matter how bad and cheesy they are, still didn't do *beep* to me in this... Did you watch Fire with Fire? B movie with a decent storyline, Vinnie play a thug, get beaten by the hero, but still manage to actually make his dialogue interesting... In this, he is supose to be the main vilain but somewhat i don't give a damn about him...
Even the freaking hero... he was at least cool at the start of the movie... yeah that until he lost his damn cross wich is the point of this movie... and don't do *beep*
To be truly honest i think the comic book is probably interesting, im not much a fan of comic book, stoped reading even the series i readed for years, cause i didn't had too much time, but this actually looked interesting... But they gave the material to a pretty bad screenwriter, and a bad director and this is what happened...
Hell i love cheesy, i crave B movies... i don't mind bad special effects and all, but for god sake give me an interesting story and LIKABLE characters... I saw better character developements in a N64 video game 15 years ago....
Alice is the worst character of all time, she need to die in the last movie. Chris/Jill are RE !!!
