The point is- though they may be popular in Russia, France, Finland, Japan- ANYWhere-- the movie stars two American girls and we haven't heard from Tatu since 2003. So on that note- why the *beep* are they making this? What a crap story!
I think a better question is, why is the director "The Killing Fields" and "The Mission" making this?
Who did he piss off that he's now directing a movie even quasi related to an obscure Russian pop duo that's better known for their fake lesbianism than for anything else?
What's next, he's gonna direct another Spice Girls movie?

Released an English album in 2005 called Dangerous and Moving, accompanied with a Russian album entitled Lyudi Invalidi. Soon to release 2 more albums.

Well, I said 2003 because they haven't been hugely popular after the release of "All the Things She Said" and "Not Gonna Get Us." They might have made a new CD but I haven't even heard of it until you just told me.

yanno maybe you should not rely on radio or tv to tell you what's still out there. if i did that then i wouldn't know half of the music i know. and im being generous when i say half. more like 80%

The Book "t.A.T.u. Come Back" by this russian guy, is based on a true story, and the movie is based in that book.
share"based on a true story" is loose, to say the least. The producers changed the ending to make it "pretty" and the girls no longer kill one's mother.
Soooo to say it is based on a true story is a stretch at this point.

I heard about t.A.T.u first in year 7 (2002) and loved All the things she said, then i looked 'em up last year and am addicted! even tho they not as well known past All the things she said in Australia I'm totally addicted!
