Like the Worst Movie Ever

I love Kate Hudson, and like Dane Cook, but this movie was terrible. I mean, the movie wasn't terrible, but the story was. I couldn't ever figure out if Alexis (who was not a great person) would end up with Dane or Jason's character. It was really distracting, and Dane's character was even made out to be the antagonist of the movie in the beginning, and it just turned out that Jason's character went no where, got nothing, just lost the love of his life. It was terrible.

reply

I totally agree! I thought it would be about the problems of dating your best friend's girl, but then Jason disappears from the film.

reply

Agreed! It was so bad I came to IMDB just to give it the rating that it deserves.

reply

I'll agree it's not a good movie, but it's NO WHERE NEAR the worst movie ever. Not even close.

reply

What was good about it? Kate Hudson is pretty but besides that... nothing. No, not the worst. But there was like nothing good about it.

reply

obviously all you prople just havent got a sense of humour!!

it was absolutely hilarious!!!

reply

Like, you like TYPE like in like every post you like make. How sad.

I agree, all films should begin with a line of text stating what will happen during the movie, scene by scene. I don't want to think during a film! Who do they think we are?!

Your criticism of the film not being obvious is quite simply bizarre. You can, of course, criticise it but at least give logical reasons.

The movie was good. Not a classic my any means but its dialogue was fairly witty and sharp, and the film was paced well. It had its comical moments and a decent concept behind it. I can understand why people wouldn't like it though, the comedy is vulgar.

reply

If this movie was supposed to be a thinker, they wouldn't have put so much vulgar humor in it. I did not go into this movie prepared to think, I went in prepared to laugh. And I didn't. At all.

reply

So, apparently, your brain can't handle having to laugh AND think?

reply

no my brain couldn't take this sh!tty story.

reply

I don't know what to say... I'm sorry I insulted this classic film; I didn't realize I was arguing about how great it was with its creators.

reply

I couldn't ever figure out if Alexis (who was not a great person) would end up with Dane or Jason's character.

You're kidding right? Was this your first romantic comedy or something?

reply

even the 5.8 rating is overrated for this *beep* movie

reply

I Agree .. the movie was BAD and somehow Boring .

reply

I don't get why anyone calls any movie 'The worst movie ever', because how could anyone possibly even know that? A more accurate description might be "the worst movie I've even seen".
That being said, hey, to each his own. I liked this movie, personally. You know what I thought was way WAYYYYYY worse than this? GOOD LUCK CHUCK.

It's just like Gandhi said, "A smile don't cost nothin', Sugar"

reply

I would agree Good luck chuck freaking sucked hairy balls! Haven't seen this one but will probably today or tomorrow. Cudos =)

I disagree. I found it to be a realistic view of how relationships work. Shows that being a nice guy does get you knowhere with women. Unlike nearly every other ramantic comedy, which is full of Disney bs.
