This film is brilliant! I'm from the UK and some US humour leaves me cold. This little gem however had me laughing throughout. I can't believe it has not even hit 5 on the imdb ratings.
Though all the main characters were hilarious, the High Priest was brilliant as the over-the-top, sex mad (and hirsute) holy man.
I think its HILARIOUS -- YES - it's stupid - THAT's the POINT!!!!

I was fully expecting it to be much, much worse than this from it's rating.
It doesn't reflect what is not such a bad movie after all, only a few really great laughs but a consistently entertaining kind of funny.
It was at least a solid 6. A 7 to me. I think it offended a lot of religious people. They do still kind of rule the world and all.
Is it wrong to assure a young girl that she's ugly? I mean what's wrong with not being pretty?
Because you're from the UK, that's why. It's a humor best enjoyed on the other side of the Atlantic, and most of these ratings are from the US.
