Calander Missing March 14th??

I looked around the web and browsed through the posts on the boards but haven't been able to find anyone who seems to know the reason behind this...

I'm sure most of you all noticed this, but at the end of the movie, when he is "dying" they zoom in on the calendar. It is the calendar for the month of March 1998, the first 12 days are xed out, indicating that the scene we are watching took place on March 13th

HOWEVER, the calendar skips from March 13th, to March 15th! I had my fiance rewind to make sure, and I find that too odd to be some sort of mistake.

Does anyone know why the calendar is missing the 14th of March? I am wondering if maybe the writers/producers/directors may of made a statement on the significance of this? According to Steven Russell's wiki page, March 13th is the day he was transferred from the prison hospital to the private Houston hospital in real life, but besides a few old posts on the internet asking why the date is missing, I have found nothing on the purpose of it lol, I normally would let something silly like that go, but its kind of bugging me because it clearly is on purpose, so I would assume the missing date has some sort of significance. I am surprised it is not mentioned in interviews I read through because it obviously was meant to catch the audiences eye & a missing date is going to draw attention and curiosity--It would be nice to be informed WHY they wanted us to see the "mistake" and question as to why its gone.

Anyway, yeah, if anyone knows or has an idea--for some reason I am quite interested in knowing, so please post!
