I just can't understand why Eddie Marsan has received so little recognition over this film - easily one of the best pieces of acting I've seen in a long time. Such an odd character, but so realistic, and so...sad...
shareI totally agree with you. it is kind of sad that he wasn't given as much credit as he deserves. i thought that his and poppy's dialogues were some of the strongest i have seen in films in a while. just the timing and intensity, it pops out. and i completely agree about how odd and sad and conflicted he is..
