what's so bad about a predictable ending?

I see so many people complain about movies having a predictable ending. Who cares?? If it's a good story and a good ending, why is it a big deal? I've seen plenty of movies where you can guess what the ending will be and it's not that bad as people make it out to be.

If it's a good movie, then that's all that should matter.
