Please ... how did this silly movie get 3 out of 4 stars? I wonder who's dating (I'm being tasteful here) who?

The film came off as a miserable failed attempt to make a movie like Notting Hill, which was a great comedy-love story.

Eric Estrada? Mr. infomercial himself? The lead actress looked like she was getting ready to audition for a pole dance. The best character in the movie was the Martin Guitar.

Those Comcast Cable TV star givers need to be sent to their room with no dinner.

I enjoyed Husband for Hire and gave the movie an 8 out of ten. It was a fluffy piece of entertainment, what more do you want?

Definitely better than the last Jennifer Love Hewitt movie I watch on the Oxygen channel.

I can see all your points (although I don't agree) except, how is this at all like "Notting Hill"? Did you just write the first romantic comedy title that came to mind? Because I'm not seeing any sort of similarity AT ALL.

Why settle with words what you can settle with a flamethrower?

Yeah, Notting Hill was the first one that came to mind. No, they're different .... but both are romantic comedies that involve family issues.
