S1E11 - Revenge of the Fallen

It's like they're so badly protecting The Joker knowing he's the bad guy and doing all the bad shit but nooo, Batman throws him off a building and they're horrified that they would hurt such a bad man. -_-

We see dead Two Face and I think Ventriloquist. He's literally cleaning house (except when he started massacring wardens, nurses and cops that is). If he did it sooner, maybe Gotham wouldn't have turned into the shithole it is now. Guess in this universe there is no Batgirl also.

I don't get how blowing the top of the mansion would somehow cave in batcave below. You'd think Bruce would've expected this and build a protection against it seeing how most of the interior was made of pure hardened steel or other. Batman looked skinnier in this tv series.

Kory looks great in the final episode as well. No hooker outfit and no jheri curl hair. Even when she powered up it looked nice. We even get to see in the post-credit scene (think this is the first tv series that's done this) of Superboy (Subject 13) and Kypto the dog.

Yeah, this episode was annoying. Though I did love this version of Gotham. This is pretty much what I imagine Gotham being like. The worst shithole on the planet. The whole thing was one big wank setup to a cliffhanger, which means we can expect a big setup to a cliffhanger every damn season finale, and there ain't ever gonna be any proper story telling, just like every other stupid dumb ass superhero tv show on the air. Shit makes me nuts! Yeah, Kory looked so good I didn't even realize it was her till the final scenes.

Since this episode was titled Dick Grayson, I was thinking this was the episode he turns into Nightwing. Guess we'll have to wait for S2. I think in S2 it will be a lot of emo stuff with Raven as she goes through her multitudes of crying to get Dick back and whatnot.

I find it hard to picture Gotham as dark and dank as this though even though it happened in Arkham Asylum as well. I mean, we got all these damn superheroes running about fighting crime in this very city and it's still this shithole mess? Like, c'mon. Looks like constantly locking up the same bad guys OVER AND OVER again isn't doing crap. Probably why Batman said fuck it and went on a killing spree.
