Wait... is this based on Scott Sigler's book Infected? I heard that the rights were bought so someone could make a movie out of it, but I don't see Sigler credited anywhere. The plot sounds similar to the book's, too...

It looks like it even.. The book was bought by Rogue Pictures and Random house, the synopsis matches the book to.. but what i wonder about is that Scott Sigler isnt attached to the project and Important caracters are missing from the cast list

Not sure what's going on here but this thread is showing up for a movie called Dark Island which doesn't even have a synopsis nor trailer and sounds nothing like Infected.
Colour me confused.
