I did not think it was that bad, and if you notice lately...

OK, it cannot compare with Spielberg, Ron Howard, etc., but I didn't think it was that bad of a movie. Of course it was somewhat predictable because we have all seen that twist endings and the same outcomes.

However, I think some people are missing a bigger picture. With movies like this, [rec], Quarantine, The Resident Evil series and more. The one thing they all have in common is people in the population, usually unwilling or unknowing "participants" being used as lab rats by "a" government. I think they are all trying to tell us something and point it out.

It is the 4th of July in the US, the day of independence and I am not trying to exclude other countries, but lets face it Americans, do you REALLY trust our government? Or do you believe everything they tell us is the truth? I hope that you question our government because if you don't, you will be in a world of hurts. I am not putting down this nation and what it is suppose to stand for, and I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I know first hand that our government lies their ass off. I don't believe anything the Federal government says and I don't trust it. If you notice, there have been a lot of films that deal with experimentation for military purposes. We do not have the right anymore to point a finger at the Nazis when our own law enforcement doesn't know things, when corporations know more than we do about what is going on, and when the government does things that are potentially harmful to its citizens.

Am I making any sense to anyone? The bird flu, the swine flu, HIV, AIDS, and other illnesses (plagues in modern times) make me wonder because I am not convinced that these are all just naturally occurring things. And, if anyone wants to question my loyalty, it is to the people and sometimes the government when it does not take away civil rights and liberties, oh wait, it has. I served in the Army Intel (yes, I know the jokes and sadly they are true) for a couple of years during the Gulf War and was privy to some things that would scare you to death, if you knew who was actually running things.

Ignore me if you want, but I think it is interesting that art may be reflecting life.
