I just saw this movie......

... And I can't describe how I feel. I can't put it in proper words. Its a very good movie actually. Complicated, but very good. I dont know how or why but I was understanding each and everything Rakesyh was trying to show. Hypocrisy of people. A very well made movie. The climax might be disappointing for some people but it is a damn good movie.

Abhi is very good as the lead actor and Sonam performs well, even though she has not-so-big role.

Its amazing that Rakesyh was able to put this in form of a movie. Some scenes might appear bit out of order and songs might seem endless, but the movie is worth a watch. I would say everyone should check this out. Its being under-rated by critics. Infact, I am pretty sure anyone who disliked this movie the first time, will actually understand it when they watch it again. I am going for this movie again.

I dont want to write a review as I dont want to reveal anything. DONT READ ANY REVIEW as you might come to know few things about the movie before you watch it.

Rating - 4/5

I liked the movie to
it seems as if most delhities are taking it as offensive
but i just see it as denial.
it's a very worth while movie and you should watch it without any prejudice in your mind.
Don't let other people's views affect you - go watch it with an empty mind and come up with you own thoughts
i did that even after reading that it sucked
and i loved it.
So yea i totally agree with your last line

i liked the movie.. but the climax was too preachy... i wish they would have just underplayed the whole message giving thing.. that ways it would have been more effective..

Even if there's one line.. but that is so in your face.. and the climax keeps going on forever.. mitigated the whole impact of the movie for me..

I know that reports have been mixed, but I plan to see this movie in any case. I've lived in Delhi for a decade, and any Delhi related book or film just draws me.

Rakyesh Mehra is a Delhiwala and I'm sure he is emotionally close to the film, has made it with his heart, likely. But sometimes the heart can rule the head--and maybe that happened too!

Here is an extremely mean review--in fact I wouldn't call it a film review. It's more like a diatribe against the Bachchans, and quite probably, the author is an SRK fan[atic]:
