What year is this film meant to be? 70's,80's?

I can't tell from the trailer it looks all jumbled up.

According to Kevin McNally, who appeared on Soccer AM today, it's set in the 80's.

yeah 23r July 1985 tax disc stated runs out 31/7/85
All the things in the intro were 80's stuff
