I mean, c'mon. 1-12 were entertaining as hell, but these chapters went beyond "so dumb it's funny" to "so dumb I'd enjoy placing a power drill on my left temple".
"S-s-s-s-s-s-stop P-p-p-p-p-pimpin"?
"Give me my motherf*uckin coat!"?
"I'm f*ucking her now..."?

And more than that, and I can't believe I find myself saying this, but 13-22 just dragged ON. I can't believe millions of dollars have been dumped into making these so unbelieveably bad videos. I can only hope that the DVD has R. Kelly's insightful commentary on it once again. They weren't ridiculous enough to be laugh out loud funny, and R. Kelly didn't make enough ignorant, offensive comments for this to be laughably un-PC. And the charm of Kelly not being sure whether to refer to Sylvester in the first or third person has worn off by now. But also, it is missing brilliant dialogue, such as "Oh my god, I think I just sh*tted myself!" or "What's that smell? Ooohh, ooh, what's that smell!"
"Now pause the movie cause what I'm about to say to y'all is so damn twisted, not only is there a man in his cabinet, but the man is a midget! MIDGET! MIDGET! MIDGET!"
"The midget's the baby's daddy, oooooh."
"Then all of a sudden, POW!"
"He looks under the dresser, I pull out my Beretta!"

I mean, that's classic stuff. I wonder if R. Kelly actually listened to the criticism and tried to fix it. That would be a shame, because he only made it slightly less laughable. And it doing that it made it waaaaay less enjoyable. And another thing that got on my nerves was that the backing "music" just stopped many times during the new chapters, R. Kelly stopped "singing" as much as he did before, opting to just speak a lot of the lyrics, and the "Big shocking, cliffhanger" endings weren't really there. Pimp Lucious and Bishop whatever where especially painful to watch.
Still, it was great seeing 1-12 again, and led me to listen to them on my burned copy again today.

And despite all this, I'm STILL stoked for 23-however many chapters of this "compelling hip-hopera" the Pied Piper decides to bless us with. Because I love watching a train wreck in progess, especially one that the engineer seems to be blissfully unaware of.

I think you're being a little harsh though, there was some top comedy moments in there. But you are right, now he is trying to make it funny, it's not as good. It was much funnier when it wasn't so self aware.

Maybe somebody pointed out to him what a total cock he is.

Shame.

Alas no insightful commentary on the dvd just a making of that looks far too painfully unfunny to watch.

Totally agree. 13-22 don't hold a candle to the original 12.
