It wasn't that bad. Compared to most of the *beep* thats come out over the years, it was pretty good.

Least it had a budget and the plot somewhat made sense in the end.

I would say, the plot wasn't too elaborated, rather guessable, but lots of pop-up visions and nerve-shredding sounds, did their job.

Not scaring you, rather startling each & every time the "pop-up" pops up, so had to bring down the volume to prevent jolts from jumping visions.

I'm talking your own standards. When you say well, compared to the other crap it's not that bad, that's letting crap set the bar for other movies. That's by definition lowering your own standards.

That's what Hollywood has done though, convinced us to accept less and less, by systematically giving less and less.

the movie is 100% indie shot. Under 80k budget in 10 days. not too shabby I'd say...
