Disappointing Attempt

I understand what the movie was trying to do. I even appreciate the idea of setting it in the 20's instead of updating it modernly. Can you imagine an app controlled Nutcracker or something? Awful. But this movie is just a sad attempt at retelling a classic. It lacks all the magic of the ballet, or even loser adaptions like the animated Nutcracker Prince.

I wouldn't recommend it, even for the curious.
