shareI binged all 4 episodes. I hope you do too...then let me know what you think. This was an indie film at sundance, and then Showtime picked it up. Its different, and will find its audience, and I hope it blooms into an even more multidimensional slice of real life.

shareI didn’t even find out about the show until a week ago when I saw a wonderful video interview with Julia Sweeney. I binged the entire series last night and this morning. It was pretty amazing. I can’t imagine a darker— more accurate —- depiction of mental illness. And it is a comedy— kinda, sorta, not really. I do think it was pretty incredible. Yes, the main character is unlikable, but that is fine by me. Basically, are forced to watch a flawed person wrecking her life. I came to the moviechat board, expecting to see a lot on discussion on this and found nothing. Which was very surprising .

Another show I binged on was “back to life”. Very different.
I knew about this show because I have Showtime and saw a preview of it.. Hardly any publicity for it. I will try back to life soon.
