Just learned that Eric also answered a question or two about Kid Nation on Reddit about a year ago. He explains how he was chosen for the show, and reveals a few other little tidbits about it. Among the revelations was that the kids had a catered lunch every day, so no one ever really went hungry. (I guess we probably should have known that. As much as CBS and the production company were concerned about accusations that the kids might ever be in danger, you had to figure that they wouldn't let the kids go hungry just because whichever team was supposed to cook didn't do their chores.)
