Look at the breakdown. All 5 teenagers on IMDb rated it 1. The lowest significant group is guys in their 20s, the highest is gals 20-44.

So basically in simple terms. IMDB has picked and choosen which votes to count and which to discard based on there own bias.

Yes, there's even a warning up now implying as such before you can view the ratings.
I also noticed that, of the 69 reviews, there are none rated 1, 2, 3, or 5 and only one rated 4 and 6. The other 67 are 7+ (lots of which have more unhelpful than helpful votes).
Same thing happened to poor reviews of Ghostbusters (2016). At least they didn't adjust the rating.
