Does anyone know who played the dying/dead wife in the beginning? Also her daughter- maybe the young Ligeia? I tried to watch the whole movie to be fair, and I was SO disappointed when the credits did not answer these questions. The little girl looks like Jodelle Ferland, but I've googled, and.... nothing. Can anyone help?
shareFor some reason there are two sets of performer credits in the end credits of this movie. Near the beginning, there is a list that is titled "Cast," which does not include the roles you mention. However, much later in the credits several more actors' names appear. I can only guess that their scenes were shot completely separately from the rest of the movie. These credits include the following:
Young Ligeia: Belyaeva Anastasiya
Ligeia's mother: Yekaterina Fedorchenko
Ligeia's father: Anatoly Semenov
In addition to these actors, several others are credited as "featured extras," but I haven't listed those. Of the ones I have named, only Semenov is already listed in the IMDB database. I have submitted these additional credits to IMDB, but it will not surprise me if IMDB does not add them. They have ignored a number of accurate submissions and corrections I've made in the past.
