Okay, so if you go to the main blizzard/starcraft 2 site, and go to the Zealot unit, you can click a button to hear what they say, if you click it a certain amount of times, he says:

"For Artanis"

so it seems that they'd want to avenge him or something for his possible death.. maybe not, just thinking.

reply

Artanis is alive. He's the current leader, or Hierarch, of the Protoss since all the leaders are dead or missing. That's why they say, "For Artanis!"

reply

yea i just read that this mornin, and i knew he starts out alive, just wonderin if he dies later on. Hopefully he lives cuz he was my favorite in Brood War

reply

He probably won't die. I wish he would die, because he is like the most massive alien nerd. But I believe Kerrigan would die because Blizzard doesn't like to have the same villain for more than 2 games.

reply

I agree with DarthBOTTO and that's good because Infested Kerrigan deserved to be slain.

reply

If she does die it will be the most hard hitting death in the series, I mean seriously. Her whole story is so *beep* up, its not even funny.

reply

You can easily see how Artanis resembles Octavian Caeser... they both become high leaders at a very small age.

reply

Usually when someone says "For <character>", the character is still living. After the character has died, they say "En Taro <character>". So I don't think Artanis dies. If he did, the Zealot would say "En Taro Artanis!"

reply

I thought you were going to say Zeratul, because he's fighting Kerrigan in the cinematic trailer. But yeah, Artanis is also likely to die because he's a die hard traditionalist, and that won't cut it when it comes to fighting the Terran and the Zerg anymore.
