Holy *beep* I'm glad I sided with Ariel vs. the Protoss
Just played through the alternate version + cinematic. That's such a huge difference in the plot and creepy as hell.

shareWell, it's funny that the Confederacy and its successor, the Dominion didn't even bother making a cure to Zerg infestation before Ariel did.
I found the plot to siding with the Protoss more realistic, personally. Plus, didn't Raynor and Artanis test a Protoss-made cure for Zerg infestation on Stukov after Brood War? I'm guessing the Protoss could have tried that but maybe it was still in prototype stages during the second Zerg invasion or simply because Haven was right near Protoss territory and Selendis wasn't going to take any chances.
After all, the Protoss bombed the hell out of Chau Sara, Mar Sara, Antiga Prime, Braxis and many other worlds.
Let the world change the punishment for sexual-related crimes to execution
Well, it's funny that the Confederacy and its successor, the Dominion didn't even bother making a cure to Zerg infestation before Ariel did.Remember that Hanson states, "Conventional wisdom says a cure is impossible -- the virus mutates too fast." Confederate and Dominion scientists probably said the same thing and moved on to developing weapons.
Plus, didn't Raynor and Artanis test a Protoss-made cure for Zerg infestation on Stukov after Brood War?That was in a secret mission for the Nintendo 64 version. I don't consider it canon and, judging by its lack of mention in this game, neither does Blizzard.
They apparently reference the mission in heart of the swarm.
shareThey apparently reference the mission in heart of the swarm. You're right. However, if you click on Stukov multiple times he says that the protoss cure failed. So I guess Hanson accomplishes that which the protoss never could, which fits this game's theme of the terrans coming into their own. share
