This film possesses gorgeous and soul-satisfying camera work.
Do any of my fellow board-goers love The Book of Eli's cinematography?

Seeing the behind the scenes, it was amazing to watch them blend the cinematography with CG backgrounds. Just awesome. The house scene was particularly well done, a masterful sequence.
shareOnly in one instance do I notice the CG, and it's when Redridge fires off the Type 69 RPG.

The shoot out at the cannibal's house is absolutely amazing. The shoot out is a single uncut scene with a first person perspective. Definitely one of the best shoot outs ever recorded and thrills me everytime I watch it.
Watch out for cheetahs! This is cheetah turf!

I love the bleak bleached-out look of this film. It almost resembled an old sepia-tinged black and white photograph at times. My favorite image was Eli taking out the hijackers in the darkened tunnel in silhouette.
I've been chasing grace/ But grace ain't easy to find
