and "films" are "shown" on tv....maybe he was making the distinction between a one-off, stand alone work (a "feature film"), and a sequential work designed to be shown in seperate episodes (he said "series", rather than show...it's important in this context)

(also, fairly likely it will be shot on d.v. rather than "film" (winterbottom likes d.v.) )

and it will premiere on uk television, so it'll have the little (tv) after the title here on imdb whether it's serial or not....

BUT...if it follows the same format as "road to guantanamo", to which it seems to be a (sort-of) companion piece, it'll be a single-sitting, feature length....which kind of seems anticlimactic after 5 years filming....

anyone see that film he made of jude the obscure....god that was a *monkeyfeathering* mess...kate winslet bleeurgh.....to be fair the book's *sheet* 'n all...
