One of the characters complains that a Jehovah's Witness came to her house and told her that she 'and her garden' would go to hell. In fact, the JWs do not believe in Hell. They think that non-believers (i.e. those who aren't JWs) die and are never resurrected. 'Hell' means suffering conscious pain and punishment for eternity.

Even stranger, in another episode he finds a vicar with a dog collar standing in his front door, clutching a copy of 'The Plain Truth.' 'All right,' he says, 'how much does it cost?' 'The Plain Truth' was published by Herbert Armstrong's Pasadena-based Worldwide Church of God - it was never SOLD to anyone, it was never distributed from door to door, and certainly never by vicars wearing dog collars!
