Is this a remake??!
I am certain that, when I was a kid, I watched an old black and white movie about the capturing of the Stone of Destiny.
If I am right, does anyone know what this was called??

There is an old BBC Scotland version, made in black and white, which used to get wheeled out at Hogmanay. I could have sworn Gerard Kelly was in it, but it doesn't appear in his credits. Maybe too obscure. I remember it as being in a comedy kind of vein, but can't find it on imdb.com.

I think it ended up in a golf field or some random place unknown to those around it. A fake was left in England.
King Edward the I did a number on Scotland, the bastard, by not only stealing the stone, but also by destroying a lot of documents containing Scottish history.
