They are fliming today at the Bull Inn on New Street, possibly for where the students meet up? The road has been closed since yesterday, filming today and maybe tomorrow when the road will be re-opened.
Raeburn's Bistro is right opposite the Inn, good view.

Just in case anyone is interested - filming has started again at the abbey today - saw a woman carrying in a white sheet with a huge purple hairy hand underneath it?! Very bizarre sight at 7am this morning!
Filming's wrapped on Stone for about a month, you must have seen something else! That's funny.
shareI was just about to start a thread saying I saw them filming in Paisley. They were filming down the cobbled street across the waters from the abbey...and obviously there!
Will catch this film in hope that it lives up to other Scottish films....(and I'll be looking out for the abbey)

There are no big purple hands in Stone of Destiny. If thats what you are after you may be a bit dissapointed when the film is released !!!
