3 Years ago I came up with a plot for movie called DEADLANDS, it was about 2 soldiers and a mafia hitman traveling across a post apocalyptic zombie wasteland to try and reach a secret military base.
I watched to trailer for DEADLAND and they have ripped off my characters and the whole tone.
'Deadland' is very different from what you describe - the lead character is not a soldier, he is a man looking for his wife. There is no mention of Mafia, zombies or a 'secret military base'. It is post-apocalyptic, but that seems to be the only similarity to your plot.

These films with similar stories & styles have been around longer than you.
Plus the ideas don't actually sound that similar.
I've had many ideas that I suddenly find out are pointless to move forward with because something VERY similar has been made.
It happens.
It sucks.
But it's not theft.
Just think of it as "great minds think alike" & move forward from there...
