Performance Comedy ? 2/5 stars

Clearly, this is meant to be a performance, not really as documentary.
Clearly the guy is a jerk, sure, but he is also a kid who has just not grown up or is stunted.
His attitude or his idea of what is funny are both jerky.
It's kind of a cute movie, with some parts that are hard to take.
I am not really sure it's worth watching, but kind of infuriating and takes patience .....
That is the thing with this guy, he is a real narcissist pretty much.
He is late to everything, passive-aggressive, and selfish.
He does not really show anything of himself, but is quite oblivious about showing his old girlfriend's discomfort and pain.
I don't know why people put up with him, nor how he got this movie gig.
With a Mom like this his Mom in the movie, I am not sure he could really grow up and be so clueless,
so most of that is an affectation to take the focus off himself while he stars his girlfriends in what is
almost a kind of pornography of mean.
Even the girl he likes, Alex, at the end, he portrays her as a girl walking in the street who would have sex with anyone and give out her number.
I don't think there is much real here, except schmaltz, ego aggrandizement and some profit for a guy who I think does not really deserve it.
2 out of 5 stars ... it is not something I would think most people who see it and get to it and start it will turn off (i.e. not a 1/5), but it's ultimately a waste of time.
