This is one of the best movies that I have seen in quite a while. It had me from beginning to the end. I must give 'props" to Nick Cannon. Although I wasn't fan of Nick Cannon, he stepped out of his realm in this flick. If he actually takes more serious roles as such...he might actually be able to salvage his career as an actor. Kudos to Nick on this one!!!!

I got a chance to watch this yesterday and I have to agree. I don't see what the other posters saw as far as how bad Nick Cannon was. He did a good job imo and I enjoyed the movie.

"Great" is not exactly the word I would use for this film. It was an "OKAY" Drrrrrrrrrama that slowly plodded on with a lot of absolutely pitiful and stupid male bonding scenes thrown in.
I was relieved that he was not gunned down at the end of the movie by one of his friends drug dealing enemy's, or the guy he fought with at the party like I thought it would end. That would have been terrible, though I'm sure it happens now and then.
Then again, perhaps it would have been a better ending than the dull, WTF ending of him in a bus headed to the great unknown in the far off I.E.D. death land of Iraq.
The acting was acceptable for an "OKAY" Drama that I would expect to see on the "Lifetime Channel". 5/10
