I hated this movie.

Look. I wasn't even a big fan of the first three. But I could see why they were well received. But this movie pulled a real Bourne Ultimatum. While featuring a few original action scenes, this film was largely a greatest hits culmination of the previous pictures. But why? Right from the get go we dismiss the finger cutting and recast the sand soldier lead. Already this feels.. unimportant. The movie starts and y'all saw it. It's f'n gorgeous if you like 90s music videos which I do. In a lot of ways, this movie is more James Bond than anything Team Eon has produced in years. This felt like a Bond film throughout. Extra bold emphasis on the old school boat in buried in water tunnels exiting secret lair. But ultimately just going through the motions. That frantic kinetic energy of the previous trilogy wasn't present. Despite extreme mayhem and stunt shows. I don't still know what was missing. Bringing back all the now classic nods to the trilogy was a misfire. Oh look, a person and their well trained dog. Again. It didn't play. It's okay. Honestly, nothing offensive about this movie at all. But they took their foot off the gas. Aside from a couple brilliant scenes, it had nothing new to offer action cinema. Mostly it made me want to watch Blind Fury again.

I hated it too. Literally the only reason I wanted to see it was to see The Adjudicator, the ugly bald bitch from JW3, finally get what was coming to her. And it never happened! Therefore this movie is a piece of shit.

I glanced through some of your reasons for hating, they're mostly stupid if not retarded.

It bugged me the recast the sand dude. Small role but come on.
