Great movie...

but yeah, the 169 minute length was a little too overlong, though not as painfully overlong as Avatar: The Way of Water. Plus the ending was disappointing and yet the studio still plans to make a 5th movie despite killing off John Wick, which is pretty weird.

Did you stay after the credits?

It may have been long but it didn’t seem it. It was one thing after another. At some point, people were clapping in the theater after every unbelievable stunt. I can only imagine what Parisians thought when making the Arc de Triomphe scene - kind of like the Downtown LA heist street scene in Heat. Everything was spectacular - way and above what I could ever have imagined.

Sadly no, but I did look at a clip of the post credits scene on YouTube.

Good. Because it completed the circle.

I think that is a spoiler for those who haven’t seen it. Maybe not a big one.

I saw the after credits scene. Akira is awesome but she was no match for Caine and I don't see how that would be any different in this scene. He would see her coming.

reply

You’re right. I don’t know what made me think all revenge is complete. I think I didn’t expect it as there was just a handful of people in the theater and not actually knowing that this scene was going to be shown. I waited to see all the locations in the credits which are always the last. So I was just surprised to see this. But course. After seeing Caine’s prowess in the entire movie, it’s stupid to think otherwise.

And I just saw it again and Caine does say early on. I’ll be waiting for you.

Can anyone suggest a good time for a bathroom break?

reply

I suppose during the fighting scenes. They are long and you know he will win.

during club scene with fat guy with gold teeth

reply

Bathroom break? Lol. When the film has ended.

It wasn't bad but for some reason I can't put my finger on, I felt it could have been better.
