To be honest, it's not worth it

I do not agree with the other comments. This movie was incredibly boring. It's a far cry from Amelie and her other roles. I don't understand why people are applauding her performance when there was nothing for her to do (not her fault, mind you). You don't really learn that much about Chanel. You'd probably be better served picking up a biography. The visuals are not that interesting or well shot. Some of the fashion is nice but there's nothing that makes the film worth watching. Also, the subtitles aren't great.

Chanel's life wasn't interesting until she became a famous designer, so naturally, a movie centered on this period would be boring. I suppose it might be worth seeing if you just like Audrey Tatau, otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

I didn't know she grew up poor in an orphanage, or had a sister. Not to mention, started her career designing hats.
