I've watched + liked this film very much...

For me this is a thoughtful, honest and un-melodramatic film. I enjoyed watching it very much.

About the technique of acting or cinematography, I know next to nothing, and I suspect that as a film audience I don't really notice or care about such things like "the reflection of camera crew is visible in a particular night scene". But I'll watch a film because I want to be moved one way or other, and some films did it and others didn't. "Tan Lines" worked for me.

To people who casually posted condescending remarks about the film, I hope they have indeed managed to produce and release better films themselves in the past! Otherwise it's probably appropriate to save their judgment until they've managed to do so.
