You cancel shows like MST3K and show movies like this? Each one seems to get worse and worse. I saw a clip of this on The Soup today. It was a scene of some guy getting eaten by the Hydra. The Hydra eats the guys head off and rips him to shreds, yet the camera cuts away after this happens and the GUY IS STILL SCREAMING? Someone tell me this was a joke by the editor, because how could any half way decent filmmaker let this get through? I know you're not supposed to "think" during these movies, but don't insult our intelligence. If MST3K was still around, they wouldn't have to search for movies to riff on, all they would have to do is riff the current SciFi channel movie of the week. It's pretty sad...

I often get the feeling that most of these sci fi originals are made by an unemployable nephew of a station executives wife as a favor to her.

Hey, without SciFi channel movies how else would the washed-up Has-Been's and Never-Will-Be's of the world eat? Looking at Polly Shannon's emaciated, prison camp-looking body, the poor girl needs money for food---and lots of it.
