Y'all kiss your mother with that mouth?

I have one nitpicking criticism about this movie. I realize the writers aren't from The South (one is Canadian, not sure about the other), but when will people learn that the word "y'all" means you all? It's never used when addressing just one person. Jesco misuses it several times in the movie, and it's annoying as hell to Southerners like myself.

Other than that, I thought the movie was brilliant. I don't know how accurate it is, but I'd like to find out more about Jesco White's life.

I need my 1987 DG20 Casio electric guitar set to mandolin, yeah...

I noticed this too and I'm English. I brought it up with my boyfriend though, who grew up in Texas, and he said he'd heard it used to address just one person, as well as a group. Who knows, maybe that's just a Texas thing.

I also noticed that Edward's (Jesco) pronounciation of 'Thought' sounded very off. He said it 'Thort', but I feel like it should have been 'Thawt'. Maybe I'm wrong?

Anyway, great movie :)
